I am Keren Martinez Carpio, a professional makeup and hair artist based in Montevideo, Uruguay. Weddings, quinceañeras, pageants and events — in my Ciudad Vieja studio or on location, anywhere in the country.
I have been working as a makeup and hair artist for over seven years, trained in Cuba and Uruguay. I work with brides, quinceañeras, beauty pageant contestants and editorial productions across Uruguay — and I speak English, which matters more than it should when you are planning a wedding from another country.
My studio is at 25 de Mayo 463, Ciudad Vieja, Montevideo, a few blocks from the old port and the Registro Civil. For weddings outside the city — Punta del Este, Maldonado, Ciudad de la Costa, Canelones or anywhere else in Uruguay — I travel to you; travel costs are quoted according to distance and time.
Within Montevideo, on-location service (your home, hotel or venue) is an extra $1,500 UYU over the base rate.
Write to me on WhatsApp and I will tell you exactly what the package includes and check the date. A 30% deposit by bank transfer holds it. The balance is paid on the trial day, if your service includes a trial, or on the event day.
Bridal services include a trial about ten days before the wedding, in the studio. For destination clients who arrive shortly before the wedding, we can arrange the trial for the days right after your arrival, or replace it with a detailed consultation about skin type, hair and the style of the event.
Minimum booking notice is one week; for high-season dates, please ask well in advance.
